Bad luck

Some time ago, someone gave me an idea for a twitter tool. I thought about it, seemed to be a good idea and ended deciding to insert it in my already released Flaming Bird. I thought I would then build the 3rd version of the Flaming Bird providing a free and a paid version with this new idea coded in.

Sadly for me, today I went to Pyrogenic Media, and ended reading up his post about TwitterHawk here… It was exactly what I was coding! Only mine is a bit more basic but in my opinion, it would go well with the flaming bird…

After this, I’m not sure what to do with the tool and all I wanted to do…

I can always do what I wanted to do from the start… There is always some space for me ,and surely having the app running entirely on your computer would be advantage while not having to pay by tweet… Don’t know… I can always provide the tool entirely for free… We’ll see…

If you are an internet marketer or something related, those are the main problems with might face so keep an eye open…

To start, I want to apologize to you all because I haven’t been updating this lately… I’ve been coding though, improving my coding skills to make better applications, bots, whatever… This is due to the fact that I thought my squidoo rater bot wasn’t very professional and this is also what, for the time being, I took it down… I’ve also been giving support to all the emails I received but if you emailed me and didn’t got any response, email me again because I must have lost your email somewhere and I apologize for that too…

On a different subject, I’m the new head coder at gewgley.com (forum and more) – I’m very happy with it! Thanks to all the guys over there who invited me and took me in so nicely… I will do the best job I can… It’s not really active at the moment since it is a fairly new project, but every bit helps and you loose nothing besides the time to create your free account. You can find some great minds over there (not talking about mine of course ) available to help you out.

I will be making some tools in the future, hoping to publish more and more apps and with quality, providing a better service for you all. Regarding those new tools, you will have access to all of them in the premium area at gewgley or here purchasing only the ones you need but it will  also depend on the tool. To end this matter, on the top bar you can now see xcubic labs tools… Check it…

Last but still important: I’m always looking for new ideas to make stuff, so if you got one, contact me so we can talk… The best that can happen, is you marketing the app and me coding it, the worst, you get the app totally free. For you it’s always a win win situation.

The 2.4 version was buggy… And since I only make quality stuff (sometimes), I just released the version 2.4b.

I’m preparing myself to release a bot in a few days. It will be the first one to be released here at xcubic Labs. The bot is actually a remake of an old one but still very useful and updated to work better… In some days, I will release the MagicSquid – with it, you’ll be able to create accounts quickly at squi*doo, rate and also give favourites to lenses… After MagicSquid, there will be TalkingSquid available, the squi*doo commenter bot, but this is another history and will take a little bit more time and beta testing to be ready for public release. Be patient.

The first copies sold are going to be cheaper and then the price will rise a bit… Stay tuned if you want one of the fist copies…

PS: I’m also thinking of getting a twitter account for the labs, what do you think?

Just learned how to work with the comments at squi*doo. Expect a squi*doo comment helper very soon…

Basicaly, you’ll pick a list of lenses where you want to post a comment, write the comment, insert you username/password and the app will do the rest for you…
